Following 20 years in commercial broadcast radio, band management, and record production, I became a film festival journalist. Beginning in 2005 I covered over 200 festivals and 3000 screenings. In 2011, I was invited to join the Palm Beach International Film Festival, where I served as Executive Vice President and Director of Programming. In 2017 I was asked to help launch the inaugural Boynton Beach Short Film Festival, the only film festival in the country run by a high school which is open to filmmakers worldwide. I served as Artistic Director for three years. I am currently directing a documentary about the music industry. When I'm not watching movies I'm watching rockets go up from Cape Canaveral.

SpaceX Launch of GPS III-04 for USSF 11/5/20
SpaceX launched GPS III-04 (Sacagawea), a global positioning satellite for USSF (U.S. Space Force), on top of a Falcon 9 B5. The launch took off on November 5, 2020 at 6:24 pm Eastern Time from SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. This was the first launch of booster 1062.
The manufacturing contract was awarded in January 2012, it underwent thermal vacuum testing in December 2018, and the launch contract was awarded in March 2018. A launch attempt on October 3, 2020 was aborted two seconds before liftoff due to early start in two engines. Following the abort, two engines from B1062 were sent for further testing. The NRO (National Reconnaisance Office) launched a reconnaisance satellite on top of a ULA (United Launch Alliance) Delta IV Heavy rocket. The nighttime launch took off on December 11, 2020 at 8:09 pm Eastern Time from SLC-37B at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. It was indeed! I started going to all the launches during the pandemic when travel was basically off the table (flying, cruises, etc.). It's a short road trip for me - about 2 1/2 hours. It never gets old.

Wow. Three greats on one stage. Awesome.
Having see Coldwater a few years ago, I rewatched it last night. This is a solid, unique approach to the bad boy reformation process, whose novelty, as revealed by the interviewer, begins in the movies second chapter. All around solid presentation via script, the completion of the film, & through my 2nd viewing of the movie. As a chef, when I’ve tabled a meal, I know, through the creation of my work, when I’ve hit the mark. The initial quiet as diners partake of the product, along with their total emersion to the finish, as they relax to further enjoyment with others at table, are the ultimate gracious blessings of the craft. I see similarities in this craft, as this diner dove back in for 2nds.
I believe the boys are all on the Spectrum. The laser focus while watching the others is so fascinating.

There were executives and acquisition people from all the distributors waiting to bid on the film's distribution since Smith had promoted that there would be an auction afterwards and the winner would pick it up. As soon as the film ended he basically said, "The bidding price is $1. Sold to me. I'm distributing it. FU all." Most of them stayed but a bunch got up and stormed out.

the whole point of the documentary is that the 3 guitarists are all very different. I was a big U2 fan in the 80s and 90s. The Edge sounded fresh and original at the beginning of the 80s although this music has not stood the test of time too well. Jimmy Page and Jack White look quite bored when Edge played them the intro to I will follow. Jimmy Page is the greatest guitar player I’ve ever listened to. The best bit of the original documentary is when he listens to Rumble. He can’t stop grinning. What an absolute master..
